Stone Cold

The Medusa Musical

In Stone Cold, the myth of Medusa is reclaimed in a glittering contemporary Athens where gods are celebrities, image is everything, and those who hold power rarely face consequences. Bold, funny, messy, and electric, Stone Cold asks: How do you move forward when the world has already decided your ending?

A new musical by Delaney Guyer, Kat O’Sullivan & Kenny Youch

Our Calling

"Stone Cold" was created as a safe haven for those grappling with the grief of sexual assault. This show intends to be a place for those to turn to when in need of understanding and comfort with the ultimate message of hope and resilience. Our team fights to redefine what being a survivor looks like.

OUr plans

With the concept album releasing in October and an industry 29-hour reading in New York City completed, Stone Cold is entering an exciting new phase of development. The team is now planning a three-week workshop for spring 2027 as the musical continues to build toward its next major production milestones.

Through its concept album, industry readings, and ongoing developmental work, Stone Cold is being positioned not only for the stage, but with long-term potential across additional formats. Reimagining the story of Medusa through a contemporary lens, the musical blends ancient mythology with modern storytelling to explore themes that remain deeply resonant today. The project’s continued development reflects the team’s commitment to creating a bold, accessible work with the potential to reach audiences both in the theatre and beyond.
